Rabi season

Hello Readers,
We all know the end of monsoon and winter is going to start nowadays we watch the monsoon shift for 1 month. I saw this thing continuously for the last 3 years.
Rabi season means season of mustard, wheat and gram major and all some vegetables onion, okra and green peas etc.

Wheat is a majorly grown field crop in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab Haryana, Bihar mean North and central India.

Seeds companies are also aggressively working in this segment. Every seed company has their own research varieties that claim higher yields at lower cost. Some companies offer buyback options. 

Major seeds companies are 

Mahabeej, Ankur seed, Ajeet Seed, Egle seeds, DCM Shriram, etc. Some multinationals are also entering this segment like Syngenta.

Top variety of wheat in India is 

HI-8759 (Pusa Tejas)
One of the varieties of wheat having a high level of rust resistance. It is a high yielding durum wheat variety with an average yield of more then 55q/ha and potential yield of 75q/ha, was released for timely sown irrigated conditions of Central Zone by Central Sub- Committee on Crop Standards, Notification and Release of Varieties for Agricultural Crops. 

HD 1605 (Pusa Ujala)
The variety is famous for its ability of resistance to black and brown rusts and also has good level of resistance to flag smut, Karnal bunt, leaf blight and foot rot diseases.

Suitable for Irrigated, late sown condition, Medium grain, Resistant to rust, blight

GW- 322
Resistant to rust, Yield: 55-60 q/ha, Widely accepted

SUJATA
Tall, bold and shining grain, Resistant to drought, Popular for chapati, Average yield: 16-18 q/ha C 306 and Sujata are sister lines

Suitable for late and timely sown condition, Resistant to rust and, Good for chapati, Yield: 55-60 q/ha, Widely accepted
